Pulse

Runs kanban material delivery for a four-line plant. Prints the routing cards and rack labels. Maps every rack and bin coordinate: about 2,800 barcoded cards and labels on the floor. Every delivery is a scan, tying real material usage to bill-of-materials lines at the bin level.

Pulse was built for the iPad. The coordinate overhaul made the job cross-trainable, and a new operator now learns it in an afternoon.

278 merged pull requests. 76 production migrations. 1,100+ automated tests. Twelve integrity checks every night, every problem reported by record.

Scrap Analyzer

Turns a recycler's monthly settlement statements into the company's scrap-revenue report. Parses every statement in the browser, drops rows duplicated across files, merges commodity variants, and splits each month's change into price versus volume. Then it exports the slide for the executive brief.

The chief operating officer saw it. Now it's the reporting format for all four plants, run centrally every month.

The investigation disproved my own theory that the recycler was underpaying. Paid weight ran about 5% over our internal log, which pointed at our own measurement.

Manifest to Label LIVE

A lean PDF parser. Inbound shipping manifests become Zebra labels through LabelLIVE, tagging bulk material as it moves through the warehouses. Long descriptions get swapped for the in-house shorthand production and handlers actually use.

Relay

iPad zone ordering, built on Pulse's sign-in and parts master. A production zone requests material in a few taps and tracks it to fulfillment. Decision to live orders in under 24 hours.

It ran as a dry run on the floor in June. The rollout stalled on hardware, with fewer shared iPads than the zone model assumed, and it was parked in July.

Muster

Turns the morning HR call-out line into a finished report. A self-hosted speech model transcribes the voicemails. A rule-based parser turns each one into a record: who called, which line, what kind of absence. Floor slang gets mapped to the terms HR files under.

Anything low-confidence or self-contradictory gets flagged for a human. Confirmed numbers feed forward, so the next call from that number identifies itself.

By mid-June it ran the full morning workflow end to end on real voicemails. The floor test with HR never ran, and it was not adopted.
